HELPING ENSURE SINHARAJA ELEPHANTS REMAIN IN THE RAINFOREST

Very unique within a unique group of elephants, is what the last two remaining Sinharaja elephants are!

And the attempted of try to move these close to extincted animals from the wet zone to the dry zone has created great controversy because the UNESCO maybe de-listed as a world heritage site, having a major impact on tourism.

This recently led to the intervention of the President, that said that the move of the elephants should be suspended until experts have done a thorough investigation into what is best for the elephants.

How I am helping

I am helping the local community by writing and distributing Press releases to gain more public awareness about the situation.
