This romantic, picturesque little town certainly captured my heart. It is only 2 hours away from Dubrovnik and easy to get to on bus. It was a wonderful, relaxing month and enjoyed it very much! You can do boat trip cycles, walk around, sunbath on the bath, east at many gorgeous restaurants and fish if you would like too. I managed to secure an airbnb there off season and paid £320 per month. If you want to know more about how I secure great airbnb deals, please leave a comment and I will reply ASAP.
Things to do in Orebic:
Orbic is ideal for cycling around. The path are wide and if you got in the ‘off season’ they are less tourist and you sometimes have a whole beach to yourself. If you like cycling or walking, Sv. Ilija hill has breath taking views at the top and a couple of gorgeous restaurants that you can relax in and reward yourself with gorgeous scenery and a glass of Croatian wine.
Hiking & Walking
Orebic surrounding areas are amazing to hike and walk around. Especially the surrounding hills and they give you amazing views once you get high up. Mount Lilja is perfect for hiking up. It is 961 meters above sea level and has some beautiful R&R spots for resting. You have two path to chose from. There is a hard and easy one. The harder one in very rocky and scary of you are not experienced, so I would recommend, following the road up.
Relax, relax, relax
Orebic has beautiful beaches and restaurants on the beach front, so if sunbathing isn’t your thing, you can soak yup the atmosphere in a restaurant sipping on gorgeous juices or wine, reading a book or watching the world go by.
The beaches are stony, however I enjoyed this because it meant, I was not getting sand everywhere. The stones are tiny, so feel very nice to lay on. The sea is mid temperature and the very turquoise. The make idyllic photographs and found myself not putting my phone away. Every corner I walked around was another beautiful, picturesque scene.
Boat trip to Korcula
Korcula is a gorgeous island and the boat trip to it from Orebic is spectacular ad only takes about 15 minutes. You can spend hours strolling through Korcula’s gorgeous paths or spend time in its many of authentic restaurants or on the beach. A day tip to Korcula is definitely worth while.
