Weißensee Cemetery

The Weißensee Cemetery is a Jewish cemetery, the second largest in Europe. The cemetery covers approximately 42 ha and contains approximately 115,000 graves. It was dedicated in 1880. German Holocaust survivor and tireless contemporary witness Margot Friedländer who died 80 years after the end of World War II on 9 May 2025 is buried here.
